Finished BofM again yay!

Moroni 9: really sad chapter but there are some gems:
v6 "notwithstanding their hardness, let us labor diligently" - have to keep trying regardless of you seek success, also can't base your happiness or effort level based on other peoples' agency. Lot of emphasis on duty.
"we have a labor to perform whilst in this tabernacle of clay" -to conquer Satan and rest souls w/ God. So withstanding temptation and exaltation are the purpose of our lives, what we should be focusing on.

v25 "be faithful in Christ; and may not the things which I have written grieve thee, to weigh thee down unto death" - really depressing sad stuff happens in life, but this shouldn't be a reason for us to be happy. How? Christ: sufferings and death, showing body to the Nephites, mercy and long-suffering, hope of glory and eternal life. This stuff should "rest in our minds forever". Sounds a lot like always remembering Him.

Moroni 10
I think I need to reread this tomorrow and write about it because there is just too much. I know this book is true. I've tested it in prayer and I've tested how reading it affects my life, and I've tried to apply it as well as I can. I've felt the Holy Ghost confirm to me that it's true; I've felt the Holy Ghost as I read it and I've seen the results in my life. There is no possible way that this book is not from God. I also know that Joseph Smith is a prophet, that Thomas S. Monson is a prophet, and that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints is true. I know that Jesus Christ is my Savior and I've come to know that through the Book of Mormon.
